Partnering With CRC

The Coordinating Research Councilís (CRC) purpose is to conduct cooperative engineering research on problems common to the petroleum industry and the automotive industry. Engineers carry out the research under the technical direction of committees comprising members from the automobile and petroleum companies and other stakeholders in the research, including the Government. CRC offers extensive technical resources from a wide range of industry experts to advise and oversee the projects as they are conducted and to ensure extremely high quality, balanced products on each task.

Thus CRC provides the means for the automotive and petroleum industries to work together with government in addressing mobility and environmental issues of national and, in many cases, international interest. This cooperation results in a finer focus on the important issues and leveraging of both technical expertise and financial support to meet common goals.

Current and past partners of CRC include:

American Chemistry Council (ACC)
American Petroleum Institute (API)
California Air Resources Board (CARB)
California Energy Commission (CEC)
Consortium of European Oil Companies (CONCAWE)
Defense Energy Support Center (DESC)
Engine Manufactures Association (EMA)
Health Effect Institute (HEI)
Lake Michigan Air Directors Consortium (LADCO)
Manufacturers of Emissions Control Association (MECA)
National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL)
South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD)
U.S. Air Force (USAF)
U.S. Army (USA)
U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
U.S Department of Transportation (DOT)
U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
U.S. Navy (USN)
…and many others!
