NO3 RADICAL DECOMPOSITION REACTION AND EQUILIBRIUM CONSTANT

Objective: To determine the extent of NO3 radical loss by thermal decomposition of the NO3 radical and the values of the equilibrium constant for the reaction of NO3 with NO2 over the range of temperatures important to the atmosphere.
