About the Workshop

The Coordinating Research Council’s 20th CRC On-Road Vehicle Emissions Workshop is planned for March 22-24, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay in San Diego, CA.  The objective of this year’s workshop is to share information on real world vehicle emissions in the following topic areas:

  • Emissions Models
  • Improving the Emissions Inventory
  • Diesel Contribution to the Inventory
  • Particulate Matter Emissions
  • Real World Particulate Matter Size Measurements
  • New Measurement Methods
  • Unregulated Emissions
  • OBD and I/M
  • Fuel Effects on Exhaust Emissions
  • Off Road Emissions

Last year the workshop was co-sponsored by the U.S. EPA, CARB, SCAQMD, and NREL.  There was also participation by researchers from seven foreign countries.

Call for Papers

If you wish to make an oral presentation or present a poster at the workshop, please return an Abstract Application form along with your abstract for review by the Organizing Committee no later than October 22, 2009

Paper acceptance will be judged on the basis of content, originality, and relevance to the workshop topics.  Presentations can describe works in progress or even planned work if the project is of sufficient scope and relevance. However, talks containing new research results will be given preference.  Technical presentations on new instruments or instrument packages relevant to the workshop are encouraged. Presentations should not be of a marketing or promotional nature.

Please use the abstract template to make certain your submission is in the correct format. All submissions must be MS Word compatible.
